News from Delroy:

On Wednesday the 27th my partner Kathryn Mate and I competed in the World Firefighter games. This was the 10th games to be held that are held every 2 years. The games where held in the fabulous Liverpool Echo Arena at the King Albert Dock.

Competitors from all over the world took part in a wide variety of activities ranging from boxing, climbing, cycling, rowing and of course bodybuilding. I entered the under 85kg men’s open class and the senior +40 men’s open, and my partner Kathryn Mate entered the women’s open figure. I placed first in both classes winning two gold medals and two very nice large trophies. Kathryn placed second in only her second contest.
