Prep start.

Started prep already —eating a good base diet —on ethat i can chip away at, bit by bit over the coming months.
I will have a coulple of days off at Christmas and then right back to it.
I have some goals I want to tick off next year and I am leaving no stone un-turned.

Workouts have taken a step up the intensity ladder also —the mind is a powerfull tool–use it to achieve your goals—You are only here once –Make your mark.

If you train today make it count—go for it.

Back to it.

Hi Guys.
As I am steping under the lights again next year.
Thought I would blog here again—as in the past many of you have liked to follow my training and diet up to a show.
I will try and keep this a little different to the blog on my site.
Training and diet have been mega—and the gains are coming fast.
One thing I have done a lot of since early this year is take a ton of BCA and Glutamine.
This I take between meals—not milky way’s lol.
They have held muscle tissue and even gained some—you just have to try these two awesome products.
I have been giving them to my clients and have been amazed by the gains they made also.
Jenny has just recently won another British and then went on to come 3rd in a pro show.
She was ripped to the bone and full.
She has always used AST—this year she used the BCA and Glutamine—big changes.

The Basics.

What a busy but fantastic weekend.
First let me cover the workout Si and I did.
Trained at home on the deck on Saturday afternoon.
Chins 15-to 1.
Started at a set of 15– the the next set 14– next 13 and so on right down to a couple of sets 3.
We then did some hang clean and press–5 sets of 5 adding up each set. After those we worked on 3 sets of high pulls. —By now it was raining –Not throwing it down —but just right—This was just awesome ( you had to be there ). The air was so clean—the workout so basic —just us and the bar —nobody about —open fields in front of us.

After a post workout drink and some raisons –Si–Lian, myself and my gang headed out for a meal—We had a great night.

Sunday morning I took Tracy to the BNBF show in Manchester.
Very good show —well run and packed to the seams.
Tracy came in 2nd —with Clare Harper taking the top spot.
Tracy did herself and me proud—she just has it — every -thing is just right. She will go so far in this sport –Well done girl, on to the finals.

Before I knew it I back here on Monday morning—mega busy yesterday.
Tuesday–not to bad today—will get some writing done.
Just about to get into some squats.

Some great workouts.

I have had some ace workouts over the last few days.
Saturday–Jon Heaton—Chris and I did some thick bar work–clean and press–curls and close grip floor press.
I also did some chins working up to some good weight in full range style.
Arms and shoulders still ache today.

Sunday –rested—was at the NW show.
Louise –won–Dave Simpson came second —both won best presentation allso.
Louise –has worked so hard –and has changed so much –that you would not know she was the same girl from 4 years ago.
Dave –made a transformation that would blow your mind—if you put his photos side to side.
He lost so much weight.
Proud of both of you.

Last night—conditioning work—Ran in the fields at the rear of my home.
Louis—came with me.
Ran to one end of the field—20 press ups.
Ran to the other–15 chins on goal post.
Kept doing this for 20 min.
Then I ran home with Lou on my back—That was hard, he is getting a big lad.
Real good workout, enjoyed it.
This morning –plan to squat.
